Lucy, prehistoric novel

Lucy, l'espoir is a graphic novel published in 2007 by Capitol Editions illustrated by Liberatore and written by Patrick Norbert and Pierre Pelot. It is a radical departure from Liberatore's previous work, the universe of RanXerox, but with the same amount of realism. The graphic novel was pre- and postfaced by French anthropologist Yves Coppens, co-discoverer of Lucy.
