Lucrèce Borgia (also known as Lucretia Borgia or Sins of the Borgias) is a 1953 French drama film starring Martine Carol and Pedro Armendáriz. The movie was directed by Christian-Jaque, who co-wrote screenplay with Cécil Saint-Laurent and Jacques Sigurd, based on novel by Alfred Schirokauer. It was released on DVD in the US on May 26, 2009.
The film tells the story of the Borgia family of Italy during the Renaissance.
Lush title character, Lucrezia Borgia, fully frontally nude, emerge out of her bath-tub (a very unusual sight in those years movies) or, in full Renaissance attire, sprawling under a severe whipping by her infuriated foaming brother.
