Linkeroever (Left bank) is a Belgian thriller film directed by Pieter Van Hees (Black XXX-mas) and released in 2008.

Plot

When a young athlete who is recovering from an injury moves in with her boyfriend in his apartment on the left bank apartment of Antwerp, she discovers a black hole in the building’s basement. She starts suspecting that her headaches, nausea and weird nightmares are caused by this hole. She gets obsessed by it and becomes alienated from her immediate surroundings, her boyfriend, and her own body.

Based on a screenplay by Van Hees and Dimitri Karakatsanis (Small Gods), and with music by Eavesdropper.
