"Let's Start the Dance (1978) is a musical composition by Hamilton Bohannon. It was his most widely known composition as of the 2020s.

In 1976, Bohannon signed to Mercury Records and two years later had one of his biggest successes with "Let's Start the Dance," which enjoyed some success on the charts.

The single featured singer Caroline Crawford, whose subsequent albums Bohannon went on to produce.

In 1981, a new mix of "Let's Start the Dance", titled "Let's Start II Dance Again" was successful on the dance charts.
