Therese de Fleury was the wife of a avocat général and Procureur royal under Maupéou and supposed founder of the Anandryne sect.

Marguerite Gourdan supposedly wrote to her on December 28, 1778:

"j’ai à votre service le plus beau clitoris de France ; en outre une franche pucelle de quinze ans au plus. Essayez-en, je m’en rapporte à vous et suis persuadée que vous ne croirez trop pouvoir m’en remercier. Au reste, comme vous ne lui aurez pas fait grand tort, si elle ne vous convient pas, renvoyez-la moi et ce sera encore un pucelage excellent pour mes meilleurs gourmets."
