Le viol[1] (The Rape, 1934) is a painting by Belgian artist René Magritte. It depicts a faceless woman --her face is replaced by her torso. She is mute, her mouth replaced by her pubic hair and her eyes by breasts. Her nose is her belly button.

The painting [2] was also used for the cover of André Breton's pamphlet What is Surrealism?.
