Le Moine is a French language film by Adonis Kyrou that premiered on November 2 1972. It was adapted from the novel The Monk and adapted by Luis Buñuel, Jean-Claude Carrière and Adonis Kyrou. It starred Franco Nero as Ambrosio and Nathalie Delon as Matilda.
