"La cintura" (The Belt) is a short story by Alberto Moravia, published in the collection Erotic Tales. It is a story about a seemingly "normal" couple comes to terms with their sadomasochistic proclivities. The story was adapted to film by Italian director Giuliana Gamba, starring Eleonora Brigliadori, James Russo and Giuliana Calandra.
