Saint Margaret''[1] is a painting by Giulio Romano (working for Raphael) which depicts a European dragon slain by Margaret the Virgin. The painting was probably commissioned by Pope Leo X in order to flatter his sister Marguerite d'Angoulême. It is mentioned by Vasari. Prints were made of the painting.
