La Nuit et le moment ou les matines de Cythère is a dialogue by Crebillon fils. It has been translated into English as Sextravaganza in the past, but its current title is The Night and the Moment. Its only protagonists are Countess Cidalise and Count Clitandre. The novel was illustrated in 1946 by Louis Icart.
It was adapted for film as The Night and the Moment in 1995 by Anna Maria Tato starring Lena Olin, Willem Dafoe, Jean-Claude Carrière, Miranda Richardson and Carole Richert.
