La Bussola was a nightclub in Marina di Pietrasanta on the Italian Riviera famous for hosting artists such as Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. It was there that Italian singer Mina became a national star in Italy. The performances gathered unprecedented audiences in Italy. Mina alla Bussola dal vivo was the first live album in the history of Italian music.
