The Howl (L'urlo) is a 1970 Italian comedy film directed by Tinto Brass. It was entered into the 20th Berlin International Film Festival.

The film was shot in the interiors of the Santo Stefano Island prison.

Plot

A girl abandons the promised spouse on the altar, thus fleeing the bourgeois world that he represents. Escape with another man with whom he leads a libertine existence, surrounded by the most varied experiences without the slightest inhibition.
