The All-Devouring Female (L'Emprise, 1888) is a marble sculpture by Auguste Rodin.
Rodin described his marble in these words:
- "the woman dominates and forcibly exhausts the man whom she has leapt upon as if a prey, and he does not resist."
- "la femme domine et étreint férocement l'homme sur qui elle a foncé comme sur une proie, et qui ne resiste plus"
