Jagdish Chandra Bose (Bengali: জগদীশ চন্দ্র বসু)(November 30, 1858–November 23, 1937) was a leading Indian physicist and Biophysicist of his age. He was a physicist at Presidency College in Kolkata, India, who pioneered the investigation of microwave optics and Biophysics in the later 1800s .
