Szász János (Budapest, 1958. March 14 – ) Hungarian theatre director and filmmaker. He staged the acclaimed American Repertory Theatre productions of Desire Under the Elms, Uncle Vanya, Marat/Sade and Mother Courage and Her Children.
He also recently filmed Opium: Diary of a Madwoman.
