Ingram are a family group from Camden, New Jersey, U.S.A.. They consist of bandleader and songwriters Norman 'Butch' Ingram, James 'Jimmy' (not to be confused with Quest recording artist James Ingram), Barbara Ingram, Billy Ingram, John Ingram, Timmy Ingram, Francis Ingram, Edith Ingram and Virginia Ingram.
The group reached cult status fame on the UK jazz funk scene in the late seventies with Mi Sabrina Tequana. They also proviced backup on Arthur Russell's "Kiss Me Again " and "Is It All Over My Face", were the back-up band for Patti LaBelle’s Your Arms Too Short to Box with God and produced "Another Man" by Barbara Mason.
