The Ingoma is both a tribe and a music style from Burundi and Rwanda. The name "Ingoma" derives from African language meaning "drum" and "kingdom". The Royal Drummers of Burundi are famous tribe members and practitioners of the music. Related traditional music instruments include the ikembe, inanga, iningiri and the umuduri.
