In Search of Fellini is a 2017 American film based on the true story of Nancy Cartwright; known as voice actress of Bart Simpson in long running animated show The Simpsons.
The film features Mary Lynn Rajskub, Maria Bello and Ksenia Solo as lead actresses, with production through Spotted Cow Entertainment, Nancy Cartwright's recently launched film production company.
Nancy Cartwright said in recent radio interviews and through her Facebook live page that "75% of the movie happened to me...It was [in 19] 85, I was studying Fellini La Strada in my acting class and I had done every scene; and I realised you know, I could probably do this as a one woman show...that was my intention, cutting to the chase I got his address and took off to meet Fellini, but I wanted to take in the culture... so I ate, drank, fell in love, I made notes, I kept pictures of people along the way... by the time I had finished my journey, I had done everything, I had fallen in love, I'd almost got raped ...it was wild"
