The Hungarian National Gallery, established in 1957 is the national art museum located in Buda Castle in Budapest, Hungary. Its collections cover Hungarian art, while the main museum for international art is the Museum of Fine Arts (Budapest).
The exhibitions of the museum are divided into the following sections:

19th and 20th century painting, statue-making and numismatics
The museum displays a number of works from national Hungarian sculptors such as Károly Alexy, Maurice Ascalon, Miklós Borsos, Gyula Donáth, János Fadrusz, Béni Ferenczy, István Ferenczy and Miklós Izsó.
Contemporary art
The gallery displays the work of artists such as Mihály Munkácsy and László Paál.
