Het zotte geweld (1912) is a sculpture by Rik Wouters currently located at the Openluchtmuseum voor beeldhouwkunst Middelheim. It is also known as De Dwaze Maagd.

Toelichting
Wouters maakte het beeld te Bosvoorde (Brussel), in 1912.
Geïnspireerd door de beroemde "Skythendans" van de Amerikaanse ballerina Isadora Duncan,"l'Isadorable", in de Brusselse Muntschouwburg en naar het model van zijn vrouw Nel, creëerde hij de extatische beweging van de danseres. Het meesterwerk van beeldhouwkunst wordt ook "De dwaze maagd" genoemd.
Het beeld staat in een permanente tentoonstelling in het beeldenpark Openluchtmuseum voor beeldhouwkunst Middelheim te Antwerpen in België.
