The 5 Continents (Dutch: De Vijf Werelddelen, nicknamed "Het Bootje") is a housing complex on the south side of Antwerp. It is situated at the back side of the KMSKA and consists of a group of 4 houses in Art Nouveau. It was built in 1901 and was declared a protected monument in 1976. From 1966 until 1976, it housed the Wide White Space Gallery. One of the houses has been demolished and replaced by an anonymous house in the beginning of the seventies.
The project was commissioned by the shipbuilder P. Rouis who added a boat to the original design of architect Frans Smet-Verhas (1851-1925). Its nickname is 'the little boat'.
The 5 continents is located at the corner of the Schildersstraat and the Plaatsnijdersstraat.
