Heathcote Williams (b. 1941 in Helsby, Cheshire) is an English poet, actor and playwright.

He is noted for his book-length poems, Autogeddon (filmed in 1995) and Whale Nation. His play The Local Stigmatic was filmed by Al Pacino.

His film career as an actor includes Derek Jarman's The Tempest (1979), Wish You Were Here (1987) and Sally Potter's Orlando (1992).

He lives a happy life in Jericho, Oxford with his long term partner Diana Senior. He is still active in many left wing projects, and he often pops up in films and on television. Most recently in Judge Deeds and as the German psychiatrist in Basic Instinct 2.

He also appeared in and directed one segment titled "Flames" of the 1975 Portmanteau film "Dreams of 13" a.k.a. "Wet Dreams".
