"Happiness Is Just Around The Bend" (1973) is a song composed by Brian Auger from his album Closer To It!.
It was also released by Main Ingredient and Cuba Gooding Sr. on Streetwise Records in 1983, produced by Arthur Baker and Fred Zarr.
In recent times it has been sampled by several R&B artists, as well as hitting the charts again as a remix by UK Hardcore Rave group Altern-8 in 1991. In the same year, samples from the song also featured prominently in Bizarre Inc's single "Playing With Knives".
