Gedoemde dichters : van Gérard de Nerval tot en met Antonin Artaud (1957) is a critical work by Dutch writer Paul Rodenko on the French poètes maudits, starting with Gérard de Nerval and ending with Antonin Artaud. In the introduction he analyzes the poète maudit to the point of coming to a phenomenology of the accursed poet and establishing a link to satanism and what he calls reverse alchemy.

Excerpt on the "complexity of Baudelaire"
