The Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM) is a French organisation for research into sonology and electroacoustic music. It was created by Pierre Schaeffer in 1958 as part of the ORTF with François Bayle as its head. In 1975, the GRM was integrated with the new Institut national de l'audiovisuel (INA).
