Gérard Lenne (1946, Saint-Omer, France) is a French film critic. He wrote "La presse specialisée dans le cinéma fantastique" for "La Revue du Cinéma" No. 347.
Gérard Lenne publishes his first book on cinema in 1970: Le cinéma "fantastique" et ses mythologies. He starts writing on film for Télé 7 jours, where he becomes chief editor of the cinema section in 1981. He also wrote monographies (Edgar P. Jacobs, Jane Birkin) and several thematical works along two axes:le fantastique (Histoires du cinéma fantastique, Seghers, 1989 ; Cela s’appelle l’Horror, Librairie Séguier, 1990); and eroticism (Le Sexe à l’écran, Henri Veyrier, 1978 et 1989).
