"Formidable" is a song by Belgian singer Stromae. The song was released as a Digital download in Belgium on June 4, 2013 as the second single from his second studio album Racine Carrée (2013). The song entered at the number 1 spot the week of its release in Belgium. Stromae, while being the original author, appeared to be inspired by "L'Ivrogne", a similarly themed song by Jacques Brel. It was his most successful single since Alors on danse in 2009.
