"Fodderstompf" (1978) is a musical composition by Public Image Ltd featured on Public Image: First Issue. "Fodderstompf" later became the b-side of Public Image Ltd 's "Death Disco" 12" single). Its lyrics are a chant of "we only wanted to be loved." The recording is said to be a criticism of love songs as they are featured in disco music.
