"Hoe divers designers met papier omgaan, zal te zien zijn in Vitrine on paper, de jaarlijkse modemanifestatie van het Flanders Fashion Institute (FFI), in Antwerpen, waarbij in ettelijke etalages het thema aan bod komt. Dit keer kan de wandelaar naar liefst 114 etalages kijken. Het aanbod is overweldigend, met bekende Belgische designers die in eigen huis etaleren (Walter van Beirendonck, Dries Van Noten, Anna Heylen, Stephan Schneider), maar ook een pak designers op locatie. Jan-Jan Van Essche brengt in samenwerking met het weefatelier Betet Skara enkele unica uit zijde en papier in de winkel van Wim Neels (Oever 29), terwijl de kersvers afgestudeerde Peter Pilotto kleine projecties op papier presenteert in de winkel van Christa Reniers (Vrijdagsmarkt 8) en Frieda Degeyter kledingstukken in papier laat draaien bij Kapsalon Lines (Nationalestraat 23)."--DS, 2004
