French philosopher Gilles Deleuze’s cinematic term “any-space-whatever” (French: "espace quelconque") denotes a coherent space that is comprised of multiple and shifting viewpoints. Gilles Deleuze borrowed the term from Marc Augé or Pascal Augé.
