Emergency Records was a record label founded in 1979. Most of the titles were released through Mirage/Atco/Atlantic Records.

In 1981, Arthur Baker released his first successful single "Happy Days" under the name Northend for Emergency records. Other notable released include Shannon's 1983 "Let The Music Play".

May fans discovered the label via Italo act Kano's "It's A War". In Europe, Firefly was a huge nightclub hit. The label offered Tee Scott the opportunity to realise mixes with Northend and Electra.
