Die Symbolik des Traumes (Bamberg, 1814, The Symbolism of Dreams) is a book by Gotthilf Heinrich von Schubert. It was one of the most famous books of its time, exercising influence over E. T. A. Hoffmann, Sigmund Freud and C. G. Jung. It features the concept of the doppelgänger.
