Danny Krivit is an American musician and DJ, best-known for his work in the New York House scene, a colleague of François Kevorkian & Joe Claussell who jointly ran NYC's "Body and Soul" in the early 2000s.

His mother was a jazz singer, and his father was Chet Baker's manager and the owner of "Ninth Circle", the village hot spot where as a boy, Danny worked as a DJ.

His professional DJ status began at Mancuso's "The Loft". Here, he began a long collaboration with Larry Levan and François Kevorkian.

Krivit is one of the original members of "FOR THE RECORD" record pool

Strut Records was the first label to release some of Danny Krivit's edits. Krivit has been re-editing and releasing classics since the early 80s
