"Dance to the Drummer's Beat" is a musical composition first recorded by Herman Kelly & Life on the Miami, Florida based T.K. Disco, Alston, and Electric Cat labels in 1978. It later appeared on the breakbeat compilation "Ultimate Breaks and Beats", and has been sampled numerous times, mainly by hip hop artists. Due to a typographical error, the title of the song appeared as "Dance to the Drummer Beat" on the original release.
