Clemente Susini (1754 - 1814) was a wax model maker specialized in making anatomically realistic copies of the human body, on the basis of cadavers.

Nel 1773, a 19 anni, entrò a lavorare nel laboratorio di ceroplastica del Museo di Fisica e Storia Naturale di Firenze, dove rimase per il resto della sua vita. Dopo i primi studi con Felice Fontana (1730-1805) e sulla base delle dissezioni praticate sui cadaveri da Paolo Mascagni (1755-1815) e Filippo Uccelli (1770-1832), iniziò la sua opera creando modelli anatomici in cera per il Museo fiorentino e per molti altri musei italiani e stranieri. Le sue opere sono un sunto di scienza e arte.
