Charles Hirsch was a French bookseller, who operated the Librairie Parisienne in London. He comments on the authorship of Teleny, or, The Reverse of the Medal: A Physiological Romance.
Charles Hirsch is also the name of an American film director and producer. He produced The Money (1976), Hi, Mom! (1970) Utterly Without Redeeming Social Value (1969) and Greetings.
