Can She Bake a Cherry Pie? is a 1983 American film directed by Henry Jaglom, starring Karen Black. The story involves love and relationships amidst a set of characters involved in the entertainment industry, like all of his films since. In one scene, a character is seen reading the book "In Favor of the Sensitive Man" by Anais Nin. Nin was an admirer of Henry Jaglom's work and dedicated part of that book to praising his film A Safe Place (1971).
