Bright Lights Film Journal is an Anglophone online popular-academic film journal, with a left-wing critical orientation, based in Portland, Oregon, United States. It is edited and published by Gary Morris.
Originally a print publication established in 1974, discontinued in 1980 to be restarted and re-discontinued in 1993 and 1995 respectively, the journal moved to online publishing in 1996, and has continued publication ever since.
