The Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften is the academy of sciences of the German states Berlin and Brandenburg. As the word "Wissenschaft", in German includes both the natural sciences and the humanities, the academy's title is best translated as Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. The Academy building is located in central Berlin.

The academy was constituted in 1993, and is the last in a series of earlier Berlin academies, including the Prussian Academy of Sciences and the GDR's German Academy of Sciences Berlin.

The academy houses a number of long-term research projects, including the Corpus Inscriptionum Latinarum, the Dictionary of Ancient Egyptian ("Altägyptisches Wörterbuch"), the papers of Alexander von Humboldt, and a scholarly edition of the works of Ludwig Feuerbach.
