Bart Verschaffel (1956) is een Belgisch architectuurtheoreticus en -criticus. Hij is hoogleraar aan de Universiteit Gent. Verschaffel schreef boeken over architectuurtheorie, geschiedenisfilosofie, esthetica en cultuurfilosofie. Daarnaast is hij auteur van verschillende documentairefilms. Hij was curator van de tentoonstellingen Giambattista Piranesi (MSK Gent, 2008) en b0b Van Reeth. Architect (BOZAR Brussel, 2013).
