"Aveugle par Ac-Sedan" (1879) is a caricature by Émile Cohl which put its creator in jail on October 11, 1879, making him instantly famous.

It is a caricature on Patrice MacMahon, duc de Magenta, a conservative monarchist who had been at Sedan. He became steadily less popular under the assault of caricatures. "Aveugle par Ac-Sedan" is a French pun on "accidentally blind" and "Bungler at Sedan."
