Asadollah Asadi (Persian:اسدالله اسدی, born 1972) is an Iranian diplomatic officer in Austria. French security forces arrested her in Germany on June 10, 2018, and charged her with an attempted plot to bomb a People's Mujahedin gathering in Paris. Belgian judicial authorities said that Asadi, along with two others, Nasim Naami (33 نسیم نعامی) and Amir Saadoni(امیر سعدونی 38), were suspects.
Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Javad Zarif tweeted:
How surprising it is that at the same time as our (Iranian delegation) traveled to Europe with the President of Iran, Iran's alleged operation was launched and one person was arrested. Iran explicitly condemns violence and terrorism everywhere and is ready to address any concerns in this regard.
