Ariel Kyrou is a French writer and academic, son of French film critic Ado Kyrou. From 1989 to 1993, he was the editor in chief of Actuel. He is the author of "Techno Rebelle, un siècle de musiques électroniques" (June 2002, Denöel) and today serves as associated director of Moderne Multimédias center and advises the redaction of Chronic'art. He wrote the introduction to the 2005 edition of Le Surréalisme au cinéma.
