Arcueil [1] is a commune of the Val-de-Marne, located in what can be considered as the southern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 5.3 km. (3.3 miles) from the center of Paris.

Art and culture
- It was here, in the "petite maison" of the Marquis de Sade that Rose Keller was taken by the on April 3rd, 1768, Easter Day.
- Erik Satie died in Arcueil on 1 July 1925 and was interred there in the Cimetiere d'Arcueil.
- Jean-Paul Gaultier, acclaimed fashion designer was born here in 1952.
