"Archaic Torso of Apollo"[1] is a poem by Rainer Maria Rilke famous for featuring the phrase "Du mußt dein Leben ändern." The poem is generally considered to be an example of ekphrasis. Philip Roth 's 1972 novella The Breast concludes with Rilke's poem. It is also quoted by Miriam, played by Gena Rowlands, in Woody Allen's 1988 film Another Woman.

Archaïscher Torso Apollos" opens the anthology Der Neuen Gedichte Anderer Teil[2] (1908).
