Annecy (Èneci / Ènneci in Arpitan language) is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Rhône-Alpes region in southeastern France.
It lies on northern tip of Lake Annecy (Lac d'Annecy), 35 kilometers south of Geneva.
