Angelo Everardi (1647 - 1680) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period. Born in Brescia. He studied under the Flemish John de Hertz and Francesco Monti (il Brescianino). Known as il Fiamminghino or Fiammenghino. He worked mainly as a Battle painter. Among his pupils were Pompeo Ghiti and Faustino Bocchi (1659-); the latter painted both battles and genre scenes of dwarves and occasionally other mythical beasts.
