America As Seen by a Frenchman (L'Amérique insolite) is a 1960 French documentary film directed by François Reichenbach in collaboration with Chris Marker, music by Michel Legrand and production Pierre Braunberger. It was entered into the 1960 Cannes Film Festival.

The film is a precursor to the mondo film genre.
