Alison Lapper (born 7 April 1965), an English artist who was born without arms and shortened legs is the subject of the sculpture Alison Lapper Pregnant. It was exhibited on London's Trafalgar Square between September 2005 and late 2007.
She posed for Marc Quinn for the sculpture made of Carrara marble, and it shows Lapper nude and heavily pregnant.
