Cabaret (musical)

The action opens in the Kit Kat Klub, a decadent, seedy cabaret at the dawn of the 1930s in Berlin. A neon sign reading "Cabaret" lights up. The Klub's Master of Ceremonies, or Emcee, together with the cabaret girls and waiters, welcomes the audience to the club ("Willkommen").
